Died unexpectedly whilst on holiday in the Canaries on 4th March 2026. James, dearly beloved husband of nearly 60 years and best friend of Shelagh. Dear Dad of Vivienne and Fiona, respected father-in-law of Paul and Mark and very proud Papa of Matthew, Grace, Oliver and Sophie. Friends are welcome the funeral service which will be held at Bowden Kirk on Thursday 16^th April at 10.45am followed by a reception in the Townhouse Hotel, Melrose where the family will join you after a private interment. Family flowers only please but donations if desired will be received for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
