Suddenly, at home on Sunday 7th December. 2025, aged 92, beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved Father to Graham and the late Douglas and their wives Venetia and Tracy.  Cherished Grandfather to Gregory, Eleanor, Catherine, Amy and Harmony.

A service of thanksgiving will be held at Melrose Parish Church on Monday 29th December 2025 at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Wairds Cemetery at 12 p.m. All friends are respectfully invited.  Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, will be received on retiral from service for the British Heart Foundation or may be sent to Thomas Brown & Sons, Funeral Directors, East Port, Melrose, TD6 9EE.
