Direct Cremation
Cremation at Borders Crematorium – no mourners permitted to attend
Includes:
- Making necessary arrangements and carrying out the funeral as instructed by the family
- Removal of the deceased from place of death to our Chapel of Rest
- Preparation and care of the deceased prior to cremation
- Provision of a basic coffin
- Conveyance of the coffin to Borders Crematorium
All arrangements made within our office. Payment in full at the time of making funeral arrangements.

9:00am Cremation Service at Borders Crematorium
Duration of service: 30 minutes
Includes:
- Making necessary arrangements and carrying out the funeral as instructed by the family
- Removal of the deceased from place of death to our Chapel of Rest
- Viewing
- Preparation and care of the deceased prior to cremation
- Provision of a basic coffin
- Conveyance of the coffin to Borders Crematorium
Total (including cremation fee): £2,585.00
Simple Cremation at Borders Crematorium
9.30am or 4.30pm service times only.
- Make necessary arrangements and carry out funeral: £1,580.00
- Removal and care prior to funeral: £535.00
- Provision of hearse: £270.00
- Provision of simple cremation coffin: £360.00
- Cremation fees at Borders Crematorium: £1,195.00
Additional disbursements (e.g. flowers or catering) must be paid directly by the family.

Traditional Cremation Service at Borders Crematorium
Funeral director fees
- Make necessary arrangements and carry out funeral: £1,750.00
- Removal and care prior to funeral: £535.00
- Provision of hearse: £270.00
- Provision of traditional cremation coffin: £395.00
Total funeral director fees: £2,950.00
Additional Payments
Cremation Fees at Borders Crematorium:
- Mon–Fri: £1,295.00
- Sat: £1,300.00
